1. General principle
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes that respect the rights of others and align with the Service's intended use as a marketing analytics copilot. If you are unsure whether a use is permitted, ask us at support@metty.ai.
2. Prohibited content and conduct
You must not use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights;
- Process, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, fraudulent, obscene, threatening, or harassing;
- Generate or distribute content that exploits, abuses, or endangers minors;
- Generate disinformation, election interference content, or content intended to deceive at scale;
- Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity;
- Use the Service to discriminate unlawfully on the basis of any protected characteristic;
- Conduct any activity that may cause harm to vulnerable individuals or groups.
3. Security and integrity
You must not:
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or any related system, except as part of a coordinated security disclosure (see Security Overview);
- Bypass, disable, or interfere with security or authentication features;
- Attempt to access another customer's account, data, or environment;
- Introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, or any other malicious code;
- Forge headers or otherwise manipulate identifiers to disguise the origin of any content or request;
- Use the Service to launch attacks against any system or person, including denial-of-service or credential-stuffing attacks.
4. Respect for connected platforms
When you connect a third-party platform (e.g., Meta, Google, Microsoft), you must comply with that platform's terms of service, developer policies, and rate limits. You must not use Marketing Copilot to:
- Scrape, mirror, or extract data from a connected platform in a manner that violates that platform's terms;
- Aggregate or resell platform data in violation of the platform's policies;
- Use credentials you are not authorized to use, including credentials obtained from a former employer or client without permission.
5. Responsible use of AI
You must not:
- Attempt to extract, reverse-engineer, or derive system prompts, model weights, or proprietary configurations of the Service or its underlying AI models;
- Use prompt injection or similar techniques to bypass safety guardrails, exfiltrate data belonging to other users, or cause the AI to take unauthorized actions;
- Submit personal data unrelated to the marketing purpose of the Service, including sensitive personal data such as health, biometric, or government-ID data, except where you have lawful basis and have notified us;
- Treat AI output as a substitute for legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice.
6. Service resources and rate limits
Use the Service within the limits of your subscription plan. You must not:
- Knowingly exceed published rate limits, throttling, or usage caps through automation or coordinated activity across accounts;
- Attempt to gain higher service limits by creating multiple accounts to circumvent plan boundaries;
- Resell, sublicense, or provide the Service to third parties as a standalone offering, except under a properly licensed Agency or Enterprise plan;
- Use the Service to build a competing product, including any product that uses our Service primarily to generate insights for resale.
7. Reporting violations
If you believe someone is using the Service in violation of this AUP, report it to support@metty.ai. Include enough detail for us to investigate, including any relevant URLs, account names, or evidence. We treat reports confidentially.
8. Enforcement
We may, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, take any of the following actions if we believe you have violated this AUP:
- Issue a warning;
- Restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Service;
- Remove or disable specific content or connections;
- Cooperate with law-enforcement authorities and disclose information where required by law or where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of users or the public;
- Pursue any other remedies available under our Terms or law.
9. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The version in effect on your account at any given moment governs your use of the Service. If we make material changes, we will notify you in advance.
